Things That Happen When A Baby Grows Up
Having a baby is the most beautiful thing in the world and all mothers know it. Also, the phase when the child is a baby is a short phase that goes by really fast as the baby grows.
The first few days of having a newborn can be confusing, tired, painful, and even maddening times when you don’t know when and how to react.
The good (or bad) news is that this passes quickly and this phase tends to fade from the parents’ minds as the baby grows. But there are some things you can forget (or not) about this beautiful but tiring phase.
Disorientation of not knowing what to do
This feeling can be quite unpleasant and all new mothers have suffered from this condition. It is a complete disorientation of not knowing what to do correctly . But it is also true that the level of learning that these moms have during this period is very high.
When a mother sees a picture of a baby on the internet it seems like taking care of a baby is very easy. Looks like it just takes a little dedication and it’s over. But they don’t tell you the big obstacles you may encounter each day.
For example, an obstacle might be mounting or storing a baby carriage. In the ad it looks easy. But the first time can be a sacrifice and you may cry with helplessness for not having done it sooner. Of course, later and with experience, it will be like child’s play.
Routines are very important
The routines in which children must be raised are extremely important for them to feel safe and peaceful in their daily lives. The baby grows up and needs to know what comes next.
However, sometimes parents feel disoriented because they forget that they should prioritize their babies before their own needs.
Lack of sleep… and tiredness!
They say the body gets used to lack of sleep in the first few weeks, but that depends on each person. No matter how many years pass, you will never forget that you were always tired.
But you will forget about the feeling of being tired or extreme fatigue when you know that one night you will not sleep well and that you will wake up the next day to go to work, after returning from work you realize that you will not sleep well that day either… and so on.
Then, one day, without you realizing it, the baby grows up and starts sleeping for more hours, even through the night. When you wake up in the morning or after you’ve slept for 5 hours straight (finally!), you’ll feel a sense of relief and rest that you thought you wouldn’t have anymore.
Gradually, you will realize that you will no longer have this sleep deprivation until you decide to give your child a baby brother… when the cycle of tiredness will begin again. But this time you already know what it’s like. So it won’t be that horrible!
Recovery from childbirth or cesarean
Recovery from birth is known as recovery from normal birth or surgery due to a caesarean. If you have a baby, it means starting another intense physical and emotional challenge as you must recover from the experience of childbirth or cesarean.
Recovery time depends on the individual woman and how the birth or cesarean went. The important thing is that the woman can take care of herself and have a reasonable recovery time so that the pain doesn’t bother too much.
babies have colic
Cramps are very painful for babies and parents feel very helpless because they don’t have much to do to alleviate the discomfort. When babies have colic, parents don’t quickly understand what it is and feel scared and helpless.
When they know it’s colic, they can only massage the baby’s tummy to try to alleviate the pain, even if it’s little.
